Strengthening Friendship and Cooperation

The Tanzania China Friendship Promotion Association (TCFPA) was established in 2003 with the objective of strengthening the historically strong friendship between the citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and the People's Republic of China. TCFPA focuses on fostering mutual understanding and cooperation through various educational, medical, cultural, and business initiatives, ensuring a prosperous and harmonious relationship between the two nations.

Our History

Since its inception in 2003, TCFPA has played a pivotal role in enhancing the relationship between Tanzania and China. Through organizing seminars, conferences, and cultural exchanges, the association has successfully bridged gaps and facilitated better understanding between the two peoples. TCFPA has also been instrumental in assisting with compliance to local regulations and mitigating cultural misunderstandings, thereby promoting a peaceful and collaborative environment for both Tanzanian and Chinese individuals and businesses.

Our mission is to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Tanzania and China.

We regularly organize and participate in events that promote our mission, including seminars, cultural festivals, business forums, and educational tours.

On 4th March, 2024, Secretary General of TCFPA, Joseph Kahama, donated 23 hospital beds, worth approximately Tzs 16 million shillings to Ilemela District Hospital.

The beds were a present from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, through their many initiatives to assist Tanzanian citizen’s quality of life, through better health and education.
